Maths and Advanced Maths
Aspace - Open to all children ages 16 months to 6 years

`Mathematics` may not be a word that gets anyone in your house excited,
but at Kspace we aim to change that!

We take the children well away from Rote Learning and encourage them to explore maths in a fun filled way. By discovering how maths can be used in so many daily activities….. we take the mystery out – and put the fun in!

So give your child the opportunity to establish a positive relationship with mathematics by enrolling them in this programme! Let's boost your child's confidence whilst building on their mathematical knowledge.

Children will be allowed to join us for a laid back and enjoyable first session, and our teachers assess which group they are ready for. 

Maths
Ideal for children aged 4 to 5 years old

Tuesdays, 3.00pm to 4.00pm

Our Head Teacher guides our children through an exciting programme, aimed at offering maximum support.
 
Every week, small focus groups are taken through their paces, using a combination of flashcards, maths games and worksheets/crafts. Plenty of practical repetition and reiteration ensures understanding, and the children can move at a pace that suits them as challenges build.  
 
Advanced Maths
Ideal for children aged 5 to 6 years

Tuesdays, 3.30pm to 4.30pm
 
Although the age groups for both maths classes are silmilar, the Advanced Mathematics programme is aimed at children who are looking for more challenges in their studies, and who are ready to move on a little.

The class moves at a slighter faster pace than our regular 'Maths', and this class is perfect for children who already understand the foundation concepts taught for this age group. Tailor-made tuition, and plenty of repetition and reiteration, ensure your child is still being guided appropriately. Content echoes the format of the Maths class, with more layering of mathematical principals and a funky finale – a unique 'basketball' counting game.

Your Teacher

Kevin Mullin is Head Teacher for our uppermost class at the school, the Super Bugs. He also designs our science and special mathematics curricula, and has experience working one to one with children of all ages and abilities, with great success.
