Superheroes
Ideal for children aged 3 to 5 years old

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s our Kspace kids and their class, “Superheroes”. We all know how popular our caped crusaders are with the little ones, and sometimes daddies too, and we have designed a class that uses their influence on our kids to teach phonics, art and physical education. 

The first task for the children to tackle is to start designing their very own Superhero. What power would you choose? What kind of costume? Who would you save? Hopefully the answer to that one is “everyone”. The teachers also hope to communicate to the class that superheroes aren’t all about fighting and shooting and will make a strict point of steering away from any such topics. With a balance too of male and female superheros, the class provides for boys and girls alike.

Other parts of the class include super-hero yoga, designed by our resident yoga expert Zoe, superhero phonics complete with worksheet, and an art activity, providing a chance for them to get their web of creativity flowing. Face-painting is another exclusive to the class, with children lining up around the block to get their face painted like Spiderman or Batman.
