Kspace Minglers

Every Thursday from 3.45 ~ 4.30pm

'Minglers' is one of the programmes that we highly recommend, and mummies rave about! Each month we offer a whole new set of themes for the children to get their teeth into (or gums!) – but whenever you join, you'll find action packed sessions that you'll child will LOVE!

Why 'Minglers'?

The 'toddlers-plus' group is called the 'Minglers' because the emphasis is on social skills! By joining together music and movement skills already learned, with a range of more elaborate purposeful activities, we have created a perfect session of fun and learning.

Content

Kspace uses music, storytelling and craft time to promote confidence and learning, and help children to develop rapidly and happily.

Our 60 minute class includes gym-time/music and movement activities/music and art, and we read a very special book, which has been chosen for its' 'wow factor' with our little fans. As a special round off to each theme we close the month with a little party; where children can dress up in the characters of the book, and we invite all parents to bring along/share party food. We have a great party spirit in our toddlers classes!

Theme Example

We love the wonderful book the 'Big Red Bath', by Julia Jarman & Adrian Reynolds. We always select really fun reads and books with lots of wonderful visuals and plenty of catchy phrases and imagery, to get the children involved and excited!

Every week we pull out key words from our chosen books to increase the children's vocabulary comprehension, and open up their world a little.

Feedback! - Minglers enjoy their own regular newsletter, photo shoots and plenty of Kspace updates too. Teachers assess children for readiness in other programmes (Little Bugs, Tspace and early Phonics etc), and we are here to offer advice if parents need our help.
